I’m a communications major at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I’m participating in something called the First Year Photo Project where I document my freshman year with photos. I burn like 200 calories minimum per shift, it&#8217;s a nice perk. Whenever I mess up orders I blame it on the kitchen and I plan on using the new girl excuse for as long as necessary to get as many tips as possible. No one can tell when I&#8217;m sweating because their greasy food overpowers my body odor. Seriously, there are times I don&#8217;t even brush my teeth or put on deodorant for work. Hair and makeup are the first priority because they are what get me tips. You say gross, I say smart. If I&#8217;m ever your waitress, you&#8217;ll just think I&#8217;m a friendly blonde girl who just started working here last week and whose restaurant&#8217;s kitchen staff are dumb as fuck.
